President’s Scholars
Who are the President’s Scholars?
The President’s Scholars are first-year freshman selected based on their academic achievements, leadership, and community service. Each scholar is the recipient of a four-year scholarship that covers all fees, admission into the University Honors Program, use of a laptop computer and an annual stipend for books.
Why should I give?
Attracting these outstanding students to our campus enhances the education atmosphere at Cal State Fullerton and helps to sustain the future of our region’s workforce.
Private donations are the sole means of support for the President’s Scholars program. The contributions received each year determine how many students will be accepted into each new class. The continued success of the President’s Scholars program depends on the dedication and generosity of our alumni, parents and friends.
Who benefits from my gift?
The accepted students benefit from both the financial aid and network of support that this unique scholarship provides. In addition, the high-achieving students in the President’s Scholars program enrich the university culture, raise the academic bar, and bring the institution prestige.
