Gift of Cash, Check or Credit Card

Gifts of cash, checks or credit cards are always welcome and are the most easily processed. These gifts are fully deductible from your state and federal income tax return, provided your deductions are itemized.

Because your gift of cash is tax deductible, the government actually picks up the tab for a portion of your gift. For example, Ron is in the 40 percent tax bracket and gives $1,000 to become a member of President’s Associates. He saves $400 in taxes, so his gift costs him only $600.
