Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR)
November 17, 2012
California State University, Channel Islands
Encompassing the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and applied sciences, the 20th Annual Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research will bring together students from across the region to present their scholarly and/or creative work in 15-minute seminar presentations chaired by faculty moderators, in poster sessions, or in exhibitions or performances.
The conference focuses on the work of undergraduate students across all disciplines and provides a friendly venue for you to not only present, but also interact with your peers in a scholarly setting, gain information about graduate studies and hone your presentation skills.
While registration is not yet open (most likely around Oct. 1), it’s not too soon to mark your calendar and start working on your abstract over the summer.
What to expect:
- A great experience and opportunities to present scholarly and/or creative work
- A great keynote speaker
- Simple registration and abstract submission process
- Conference reimbursement to the first 20 CSUF students who register and submit abstracts (please check back here later for additional information)
